About this page

Although Red Disability is written using the Social Model of disability, there will be times when people with disabilities need access to medical or treatment info. This page has been designed, where possible, to get you straight to the info you need without having to trawl through irrelevant fundraising crap.

The link to Descriptions of the Disability on question, are aimed at people who wish to re-educate others about the facts and myths of their condition.

Unfortunately, Red Disability can take no responsibility for the content of external sites. Most condition-specific groups have charity status, and tragically (term used ironically !) some do contain bits which are full of patronizing drivel.
