• AngryGimp.com is "for posting ideas, stories, suggestions, comments and rants of we “gimps” around the world". Maybe the use of the word "gimp" to mean "disabled person" is rather postmodernist, but the site is well worth a visit, for a view of the disability scene from the viewpoint of ordinary working class disabled people.

Music and recording companies

Heart 'N' Soul are a band featuring members with learning disabilities; and many of their songs (eg "Doctor's Rap") are written from a disabled person's point of view.

Simon Smith, of Simon Smith & The Useless Eaters, now has a website. Worth a visit.
