Computer programmers and software developers with disabilities

Software, it's what makes your computer, and the web itself, function. Software development has also helped people with disabilities enjoy the fruits of information technology, with specially adapted software - suvh as text-reader software for blind people.

But did you know that some software developers have disabilities themselves? Well, you do now!

Bill Williams

Disability:  cystic fibrosis (source: Bill Williams remembered)

Games designer.

In his early days, he designed games for Atari machines, notably Salmon Run and Necromancer.
Went on to develop games for the Commodore Amiga, such as Mind Walker and Pioneer Plague.
In his later years, he designed games for Nintendo, such as Monopoly for the NES and Bart's Nightmare for the SNES.
